  1. My favourite activity has got to be the 3G swing! I loved the way my friends had to pull me up to the top. The scary bit was pulling the rope to let you swing but once I did it was great fun as you swing down really fast. The Hawaiian beach party was also great fun as we were the only school to do it. The food was good as there was a wide range to choose from. Our room was nice as it had just been renovated but the showers were not as good as they didn't always work. The instructors were very understanding and encouraging and helped you along the way. I loved my week at Kingswood and wish I could do it again, I did feel nervous about leaving my family but as we were kept busy doing lots of activities the week went by quickly so I would definitely recommend it to year 5! I really loved the Isle of Wight trip and it was one of the best times in my life!!! You will be amazed at what you can do! Toasting marshmallows, Abseiling, Go karting, Fencing, 3g swing, Achery, Hawian beach party, rockpooling, rockclimbing, nightline (which is where you are blind folded and you have to get round a muddy course, with the teachers playing pranks on you), zip wire, lazertag and ninja school. Just being with your friends for a while and working as a team makes you feel even closer together!!! The food was yummy and the instructors were so much fun and were really funny and encouraging. Finally all year 5's YOU MUST GO ON THIS TRIP!!! YOU WILL NEVER FORGET IT!!! Thank you to Mr. Parascandolo and all the teachers for being there for us and also being rather fun! Niamh Geeson 6F

  3. I loved Kingswood, I will remember it the day I die. My favourite activities were 3G swing and leap of faith. I liked the accomodation and think that I started to find my away around by day 2 the rooms were nice but ours was quite messy.... it was nice to have a shower except when it stopped half way through!!! The food was really good especially when we had fish and chips and chicken curry on the same day!! My best moment was when we went to the campfire on the last night we toasted marshmallows and sung silly songs with Adam and Joey. My funniest moment was when either Lani scared me in the middle of the night or when Mrs. Randall was joining in with the campfire songs!! I would definitely recommend it to year 5 and all I would say is to make sure you go right to the top on 3G swing!!

  5. Wow! The Isle of Wight was amazing, as soon as we arrived I knew that our trip was going to be great. Their was two instructors that were almost like family for a week as they were like two big kids. Thank you Adam and Joey! Every activity that we done was so exiting, but my favirout too had to be 36 and leap of faith. I had never done either of them before and I would LOVE to do them again.
The food that I had was very tasty and I loved the fact that you had different foods to choose from every day. The rooms were ok and able to have a good nights sleep in, but were not very cosy but plain and stuffy. The only down side was that the showers did not work every day and you had to get up that bit erlier just to have a wash. Overall the trip was amazing and I would like to say thank you to all of the teachers and year 5 you are going to have such an amazing time there !

I loved Kingswood! My favourite activities were 3G swing and lasers storm.I liked the accommodation. I liked the showers except when it stopped half way through!!! The food was really good especially when we had fish and chips,. It was really nice when we had dinner, and ice-cream as well. My best moment was when we went to the campfire on the last night and we toasted marshmallows and sung funny songs with two of our instructors Adam and Joey. My funniest moments were when Mrs Randall joined in with the campfire songs and when Mrs Finch came into our room in the morning and put a song on her mobile, she put her mobile in our ears because she tried to wake us up, and she did! I loved my week at Kingswood and I would love to go again. I did fell nervous about leaving my family but as we were kept busy doing lots of activities, I didn't think about it! The week went by so quickly. I would definitely recommend it to year 5!

  7. Wow!! The Isle of Weight trip was amazing! We had two main helpers called Joey and Adam. My top 3 activities were: The Leap of Faith, 3G Swing and finally the Balance Beam! There were all fabulous and extremely fun activities! The accommodation was very nice but could have been better e.g. Bigger bedroom (but it was big enough). The showers were lovely but stopped half way throw. The food there was brilliant and you have a wide range of choices! There was fish and chips for lunch and then chicken curry for dinner on one day! The whole week as brilliant it's hard to find one best moment! I would defiantly recommend this trip to the year 5!!

  8. The Isle of Wight trip was amazing! My favourite activities were the 3G
swing, and the leap of faith. My favourite activities were the 3G swing and leap of faith because the experience was indescribable and like nothing I have ever experienced before. I have two other favourite parts of the trip, which are being on the beach with my friends, and relaxing in our dormitories , talking about our day.
One of the only bad things were the showers , as there were only four, and they kept on breaking. One of the other bad things were the journeys there and back, because
of the long bus rides, although I liked the ferry rides. The food was alright.
I would recommend it to hear 5.

  10. The two favourite things I liked about Kingswood were that the Instructors were really friendly, happy and great fun and the other was the activities. I really enjoyed the 3G swing it was amazing you must go to the top. The laser shooting was cool and you never ran out of amunition! Our two instructors were Adam and Joey they were like big kids the whole time which was really cool. The whole trip showed me that if we work together we can achieve anything. The bedrooms were OK but the quilts were too short. The food was really tasty with lots of choice, especially the curry which was yum! The hawaiian beach party was really fun and even the teachers dressed up Mr Parascandolo wore a grass skirt ! Overall an amazing trip great experience that I will never forget would love to go again, Year 5 must go. Thank you to all of the teachers they were brilliant. Ben C.

  11. The Isle of Wight was unforgettable! I will definitely recommend this trip to year 5 as you will have a great experience and some lovely memories. The food was amazing and I never went hungry. Our room was so big, and the beds were comfortable although we didn't spend much time here because we were always kept busy. My favourite activity was either the 3G swing or Leap of Faith because these were high activities and I liked the thrill of being up high. Even if you don't like heights there are activities like Go - karting and Aeroball that you will enjoy just as much. If you are worried about missing your parents, then don't because there is so much to do. Thank you to the school for organising this brilliant week away.

  12. The Isle of Wight was amazing. We had the best instructor ever, he was called Joey. He was our team leader and was with our school all week. I definitely recommend this trip to the year fives. It will give you awesome memories. The food is delicious. The rooms are sort of empty but all you actually do in there is sleep! If you are adventurous and love heights(like me), you will love all sorts of things like the 3G swing and the zipwire(they are my favourites!). You are too busy to be homesick. Thank you to Joey and Adam for being amazing and to the school for organising this trip away.

  13. The year six trip is great and I would recommend it to all year 5's here is why !! From food to dormitories the whole centre is great and easy to find your way around. The food is excellent with a wide range to choose from . The activities are great and its challenge by choice so don't fell pressured to do anything, just do the best as you can. The best activities are 3G swing, Nightline and zipwire. The only down was watching England lose but being English you kind of get used to it. Do as best as you can. Thank you to all the teachers and group leaders especially Joey and Adam as they where great. The trip is great fun and you'll miss out if you don't come.

  14. I loved the trip to Kingswood!! It was so fun and exciting and there was always something to do. The activities were amazing and really fun. My favourite activities were the 3g as you get pulled to the top then you pull a rope and you go flying down really quickly. I have never done anything like that before so I really enjoyed it. My other favourite was the leap of faith which is were you climb up a tall wooden post and then jump of and try to touch the ball. The instructors were also really nice and funny especially Joey and Adam. I also really enjoyed the beach party and the walk up to the statue. The rooms were nice and the food was lovely. Overall the trip was fantastic, its a shame England weren't as good,( thought the teachers could have at least arranged a win !!!! :-))
It was enjoyable and just brilliant I recommend it to year 5

  15. The Isle of Wight was amazing. Everything there was great I will never forget it!!
I would defiantly recommend it to the year 5 because it was great fun and they don`t make you do all the activities if you don`t want to or are unsure about them. (I did all the activities). Everyone will enjoy at least one of the different activities available which you wouldn't normally do. There is a wide range of food you can eat. My favorite food was the spaghetti bolognese. My favorite activity was the 3G swing because it was amazing, if you go right to the top then it is really fun. The activity leaders were helpful and also most importantly the group leaders Adam and Joey as they were both such a great help and also the teachers were a nice help as well!

  16. The Isle of Wight trip was amazing. The food was lovely with a different choice every day at Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. The activities were amazing but for me The Leap of Faith and The 3G swing were the best. On the Leap of Faith it was fun because you would get harnessed up and you would have to climb up a pole then at the top you would stand up and put your hands out then your group would count you down 3,2,1 LEAP OF FAITH then you jump and punch or touch the ball and you'll get lowered down. The 3G swing is were you are harnessed onto a metal, the rest of your group would higher you and your friend up and at the height you want to go then your group will count you down 1,2,3G then you would pull a rope and its like a massive swing. There were also lots more activities and you didn't have to do any activities if you didn't want to. The instructors were fun and not bossy the best were Joey and Adam as they were are schools team leaders. The rooms were ok and not stuffy but you were only in them for sleep. So it was a great holiday and I recommend this for year 5 and lower really but if you don't go then you'll miss out so go trust me its amazing.

  17. I loved the Isle of Wight trip so much, that I don't have words to describe it. This trip is going to be one of the most memorable ones ever. When we went on the coach I was like OMG, because it was the longest time that i had been away from my family, and I knew that I would want to come back the next day. However it was so the opposite, I actually got busy and didn't have time to think about missing my family. My favorite activities were the 3g Swing, Night-line and the Leap of Faith, because they made me go all extra-happy at the end. And after all I kind if thought I had got my Heights fear gone and that is an achievement. I loved the canteen, and the way you had loads of choices, yum the fish and chips and the Ice cream tub so deliciously scrumptious.. If I had only one word to describe the whole trip it would be FUN, but if there was a rule that you couldn't use that word I would use PERFECT! I can just imagine the trip being so Perfect like a nice chocolate cake with a cherry on top: The lovely teachers as the bottom layer, the fun-filled activities being the middle layer, the tasty food being the top layer, the amazing Hawaain Beach Evening being the icing, the comfy rooms being the cream and last but not least; the funny and friendly group leader especially Joey and Adam being the cherry on top. If I had another chance to go to this trip I would take it, it would be a no brainer! Lucky year 5's you're going to love it when you go. Thank you to all the staff for organizing this stupendous trip, and thank you to the teachers for being there for us whenever we needed them, even if it was nearly midnight! The best thing is when you come back you will come with a brilliant experience, and tons of memories reminding you of good times.

  18. I really enjoyed the Kingswood trip it was so much fun. The rooms were just the right size for the amount of people in them. The food was delicious and there were options on every meal so there was always something you like. The instructors were really nice and encouraging our main instructors Joey and Adam were really funny! My favourite activity was the 3G swing it was so much fun! The beach was beautiful and not very far from Kingswood. At the beach we did rock-pooling and we caught loads of crabs and shrimps. It was really fun doing abseiling and the zip wire. At first I wasn't going to do the abseiling but the instructors encouraged me to do it. But when I did it I really enjoyed it. The year 5's will enjoy it even if they aren't the most adventurous person.

  20. I extremely enjoyed the Kingswood trip ! There were two main instructors and there names were Adam and Joey ( but Joey was actually the best out of the two ). If you are worried or scared about any of the activities they will encourage and reassure you but none of the instructors will EVER force you , some times if you're really not sure about any of the activities you will be set a mini challenge to beat and if you don't complete that challenge it doesn't matter as long as you tried your very best. The food is great and on every meal of every day you will get a wide selection of foods, on one day you even get fish fingers and curry on the same day (not the same meal though). My absolute favourite activity has definitely got to be go carting because it's really fun and exciting. The rooms were the perfect size although we didn't see them much. I highly recommend this trip to all year 5's so if you don't go in 2015 you will regret it a lot . This is the best trip ever please go .

  21. I really enjoyed our week at Kingswood. The rooms were good but got really stuffy if you did`nt have the window open. The food was delicious and there was a different menu every day. Our main instructors were called Adam and Joey. There were a wide variety of activities to do. My favourites were the 3G swing and the zip-wire. They had everything from abseiling to zip-wire. I really enjoyed the Hawiian beach party. We all made sand castles and had a really great time. I would definately reccomend this to year 5!

  22. I really enjoyed the Kingswood trip it was mind-blowing! we had lots of really nice instructors and the main Instructors were very nice and their names were Joey and Adam( they were like good friends or just big kids), I think that Andrew( I think Andrew is a good friend someone could have, he could do lots of animal noises and when I asked him how he those this he said "you will need to practice") and the others that came to the walk could also be main Instructors. My favorite activities were 3G swing , Leap of faith, Abseiling ( A German word. Yes!) , Go-carting and Zip-wire.
The food was palatable you could choose from different types of food.My favorite breakfast was sausage with slices of bread, My favorite lunch was Burger and my Favorite Dinner was Pasta and Sausage roll ( well I didn't eat sausage roll because i couldn't see that far).We had tip-top bedrooms and the girls have bigger bedrooms than the boys but Ben, Sean, Ethan, Joseph, Travis and Me! had the biggest boy bedroom(ha ha) it was ment to be a 6 people bedroom with bunk beds but we got a 8 people bedroom with 4 bunk beds instead of 3 bunk beds.Worst moment: when England lost 2-1 when they faced Uruguay. Best Moment : when we went to the Hawaii beach party.Year 5 will truly enjoy Kingswood!

  23. The Isle of Wight trip was ,without a doubt, AMAZING! The rooms were very nice and it was easy to find your way around the building. If you need someone at night the teachers are always there. On each activity there were different instructors. Not one of them are mean and are always looking for fun. Ouf main instructors were called Joey and Adam who felt like brothers for a week! If you are worrying about the food then don't! There are wide ranges every day so if you don't like one meal there is always another. The activities were amazing including the leap of faith, 3g swing (my favourite activity) and many more. My favourite moment was going on the 3g swing with Oliver. You were tied on to a metal bar and pulled up really high, then every one would shout 1,2,3g! And you would pull a rope and you would swing really high! If any year 5's are worrying about missing their parents then don't! You are kept too busy to think about that kind of thing. You will be put in 4 groups for your activities and you are designated a group leader (one of the teachers). I would urge the year 5's to go on this amazing trip as if they don't they will really regret it. I think I only had one bad thing happen - watching England lose to Uruguay! I would like to thank all the teachers for giving us this wonderful trip and I really do recommend this to the Year 5's.

  24. We enjoyed the week at kingswood it was great fun.The activitys were fun and the food was good. We will never get this amazing challange again we were push to our own challanges and never had to do anything. The rooms also were good and the beds were very comfy it was easy to find your way about the grounds without getting lost. All the instructor were kind and friendly and they had a shoutout which was really cool..The many activitys involved 3g swing, leap of faith, areo ball, zip wire and many other fabulous. Our 2 favourite activites were 3g swing and zip wire. We really enjoyed the hawii night because we did lots of fun things. On one of the evenings there was a campfire or to watch England vs uraguay and we went to the campfire which was really good because we roasted marshmallows and sang funny songs

  25. It was really fun at kingswood especially the 3g swing and the leap of faith. I really liked the hawaiian beach party and digging holes and making sand castles. The rockpooling was quite cool because me and Graham found a shrimp and called it shrimpy. Overall the trip to kingswood was absolutely amazing - Nathan J :)
